Me and Leo went outside to hangout, and heard screaming and clapping around the corner. We looked and saw a giant crowd of ants and on the stage in front of them was the queen. We thought it might have been important but wanted to still hang out. [[go get your parents and come back to listen]] [[go hang out somewhere else]]

Me and leo stayed inside and played monopoly. It was hard to beat him but I eventually won. the end

We went and got my parents and his, and came back. And luckily we were right in time because Queen Medow had just started talking. “I have been looking at a HUMAN map, and I have found a place called ANT-arctica!” //OW!!!!!!! MY EARS!!!!!!// I thought. She was so excited that she was screaming at the top of her lungs, into a microphone, that was at the highest volume. I thought back to last week when she was talking about moving us and thought that’s what she was talking about, “And we’re going to move there.” //I was right// I thought. “We only made one rule. All children under the age of 13 coming will not be allowed if without an adult ant.” She showed us the map and I got really worried. Almost all of the other continents were green and Antarctica… was one of the few white ones. We hadn’t had it much, but I knew what snow was, and it was white, and ''REALLY COLD''. “I don’t know if this is a good idea guys. I mean it’s white, and we all know what snow is.” I said. “But, it does have ant in the name. It could be like, an ant oasis!” My brother argued. "I trust her!" "Yeah only 'cause you have a crush on her!" "KAREN!" my mom yelled "What? just the facts." [[stay here]] [[go with the queen]]

you go hang out over at the big abandoned dog house. its filled with bones and tools. you climb on the tools ''AND ALMOST FALL OFF AND DIE''! but Leo catches you and you only break your antennea. the end

He had a point but I thought mine was better. I had evidence and he didn’t. We argued the whole way home, but he wouldn’t give up. “All I want to do is keep you safe!” I yelled as tears started rolling down my face, but he still chose to go. My dad volunteered to go with him so my mom could stay. I ran to my bed and cried myself to sleep until the next morning. When I woke up me and Leo went to say goodbye to my dad and my brother. Although I didn’t really want to see my brother right then. On our way there we saw our old friend Steve. We walked over to him and started talking. “Hi Steve, are you going to ant-arctica?” I asked. “I don’t know, should I?” He asked. We pondered for a little, wondering if we should persuade him to stay or let him choose [[convince him to stay.]] [[let him do what he wants.]]

Leo my family and I went with the queen to antarctica. I brought a lot of board games and card games. I hung out with Leo the whole time and started to feel weird around him. I would feel butterflies in my stomach and blood would rush to my cheeks. It started to feel more and more like winter the closer we got. Everyone on the boat was confused because it was winter when we left and its been only four months since you packed up on the last island we stopped at. It got colder and colder. People started making huddle groups to stay warm with each other. Me and Leo started doing that too. then I wanted to tell him but I was super scared, I had never had a crush before. [[tell him?]] [[wait to get there.]]

You tell leo you like him, and it turns out he likes you too. You start dating and your even more exited to get there now so you and him can settle down together, but when you do get there... its too cold and you only survive for a day. You Died

You wait until you get there and when you do you are so exited but then its too cold and you get hypothermia. You Died

On our way there we saw our old friend Steve. We walked over to him and started talking. “Hi Steve, are you going to ant-arctica?” I asked. “I don’t know, should I?” He asked. We pondered for a little, wondering if we should persuade him to stay or let him choose but, eventually we persuaded him to stay. Then we said goodbye and me and Leo went to go find my dad, and when we did, they were on the boat going to ANTarctica.I ran home, crying again, leaving Leo alone. By the time I got home, I had a headache. I just had another thought fest, //I can’t believe they didn’t wait for me. Will they even come back? They could drown at sea, or freeze to death, but what if they do, would I still be mad?// I had a lot of thoughts. I kept crying and once again I cried myself to sleep. [[ the next day]] [[Dream]]

"You choose" I said shakily. "''Im going to antarctica!!!''" //oh no// I thought //what are we gonna do now? hes gonna die.// I got really worried, but we just didnt talk about it on the way to the boat. I said goodbye to my dad... and brother, even though I didnt want to talk to him, and steve. when we walked home I started crying, but Leo comforted me. we said good night and he left. I felt all alone it was just me, and my mom. [[next day]] [[DREAM]]

I didnt sleep well because of the nightmare I had the night before. The sun came up and I was starving. I went outside to get some food, avoiding all I could. I ran into Leo and we hung out for the whole day. And the next, and the next. we hung out for weeks strait. I started to feel weird around Leo. Whenever I was around him I would get butterflis in my stomach, and my cheeks would boil and I would stutter. And I realized I had a crush on him. I didn’t want him to know so I decided to act like there was nothing there. For the next few weeks I didn’t really hang out with him, but when I did, I felt weird and uncomfortable. [[continue]]

that night I had a nightmare. My dad was huddled with my brother Steve and some strangers, there were gigantic waves and the boat was rocking back and forth. I walked out of the bathroom from throwing up and I.. was naked... I tried to cover up but everyone was already laughing. I stepped into a barrel that had no top or bottomand I started to feel sick again. I threw up on the spot. the barrel fell and I was just bending over inside of it barfing. I could feel the pain in real life. it rolled over and I stopped barfing out of shock. I was full of adrenalin. I was shaking and couldnt control myself. Then the ship was engulfed by a wave.I could feel the cold water surounding me. I couldnt breath, in my dream nor real life. I would pop my head out of the water a second and then be taken under by a wave again. ''GASP'' I finnaly woke up. Beads of sweat were rolling down my face, into my eyes. It stung. I got some crumbs and couldnt fall back to sleep. [[next day]]

Then one day, Leo came to my house, (fake) flowers in hand, red as a tomato. "Uh- Karen, I was wondering if- *gulp* you would go on a date with me?" [[Yes?]] [[No?]]

After a few months we knew my brother and father weren’t coming back… They were dead. I had lost my dad and my brother and I hadn’t even been able to say goodbye. The whole colony had a funeral for all the ants who we had lost. My dad, my brother, Steve's mom, the queen, and many more ants. We had gathered as much food as possible and had a feast at the funeral. The atmosphere was quiet for those long months of mourning. One day I had the motivation to go outside and get some more sunlight than usual. After that I started hanging out with Leo again. Then a couple of days after I eventually told him I liked him and it turned out that he liked me back the whole time. We didn’t dare tell anyone else and kept it a secret just between us two. Then, one day, Steve told me ''he'' liked me, and then it was a big conundrum. I kind of started to like him back also. I was so confused,//who do I like? Do they still like me? Will they always like me? I don’t want to hurt either of their feelings, but im going to have to decide.// I didnt know if I liked [[Steve]] or [[leo]] more.

I felt that I liked Steve more so I told Leo the truth. I felt so bad but he said it was okay. Then me and Steve started dating and Leo slowly drifted away from us. I felt like it ''wasn’t'' ok and I had hurt his feelings badly. I still wanted him as a friend though. Then sadly, the next week he was killed by another animal. We had a funeral and lots of people gave food to his family. The next year we were just eating peacefully, when we heard some loud sound. We looked outside and saw something in the sky with fire, and we soon realized that the humans were back. Eventually the colony found a new queen and we repopulated. We celebrated with a feast, and our colony had the best years of our lives, even with the loss of many ants. ''The End''

It was a hot dead summer day in New York. All the ants were inside, and all of the trash was motionless, and there was still too much of it. I was having a thought fest, //will the humans ever come back?// I was kind of scaring myself. //Would life be better if they did, or would they just step on us? Would they pick up all of the trash they left?// The sound of my friends strangely cracky voice took me back from my thoughts into the real world. “Hello, Karen? Are you home? I brought crumbs!” I heard my stomach growl that awful sound it does. I could almost taste the crumbs. I was so hungry I was drooling. “Uh- Coming!” I yelled. I then ran to the opening of our can only too see something horrible. My best friend, Leo, was standing at the door almost falling down, all beaten up! We came inside and sat down to eat with my parents and brother, and he told us everything. “I was looking for crumbs, when I saw some around the corner. But, when I looked further, it wasn’t just crumbs, it was a whole half of a slice of bread. Unfortunately though, there was also a dog there. I'ts name tag said Jacy. I ran as fast as I could but she still got me. Even though she was skinny weak and tired, she still got me. I feel bad, I could have gotten all the bread and fed the whole colony.” Leo said gloomily. “But you still got enough to feed us two meals, and that´s good enough for now.” I responded. “Thanks!” He exclaimed. We ate our crumbs and me and Leo wanted to hang out, the only good places were outside or inside. [[go outside ]] [[stay inside]]
